    fancy things and fowl on that day. On St Stephen's day the wren boys come round playing music and asking money. Long ago they used to go to hunting the wren trying to kill him.
    New year's day is a week after Christmas day. There is only one Mass on that day. The feast of the Epiphany is the 6th January. The feast of Holy Innocent is the 28th December. What ever day the 28th Dec. falls on is called the odd day of the year. People would not like to start any new thing on that day
