  1. "Fairy fort"
Living near me is an old man named John Dowdall that is very good for telling fairy tales. He said that there was fairies which he called the "Filegullians".
They were supposed to travel from a glen near Confey to Confey every night.
Some men travelling the roads in the night and seeing these fairies used to cross into the fields and attempt to follow them, but without any success, for the fairies would travel too fast and they would be left in the field.
When however these people tried to get out of the field they found it impossible to find the gate or gap until break of day. That was the punishment that the fairies was supposed to give them that followed them.
