- One day a man went on a visit to a neighbouring house with his sister Bridget. The man was "innocent", so all the people liked him. The man of the house gave him a penny. - A farmer hired a sevant boy to work with him. The boy got stale bread for his breakfast. He complained to the farmer. The farmer said, "My wife baked bread before you were born."
