- 445Travelling FolkIn my district people go about from house to house begging alms. Those people live on the sides of by-roads in tents made of shallow rods woven together and covered with canvas and bags. Those who are better off live in Caravans which are drawn by horses. Some of those poor people that come to our doors are blind from the day of their birth.Some of those people make little wooden tables and sell them in country houses. More of them make gallons and saucepans which we call "ponnies". They names of the travelling folk that go about in my district are, the Mc Donagh's, Moffits, Wards, Murray's, Mac Ginleys, Noons, Goldenbanks and the Mc Gee's. They buy their stuff in the nearest and(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
