    The cure of the feet: People did not wear boots, long ago till they were quite grown up. Children now-a-days come to school from early Summer till late harvest, bare-footed. If feet are washed at night, the water should not be thrown out. If thrown out, it is believed to come back and call, 'Feet-water: feet-water: Let me in'. There are about 3 shoe-makers in the district. Their fathers before them were shoe-makers. There are not as many shoe makers in the country now, at least they don't make new boots as all kinds can be bought cheaply and readily in the towns. Long ago people had no such things as Bunions,
