- Graveyards are generally where old churches were situated long ago. There is an old graveyard called 'Aglish' in the Parish of Ballyhar. It was once a Parish in itself. It is situated on the top of a hill and has a great view of Ballhar Parish, Listry and Kilcummen burying graveyard. The ground is circular or fortress shaped. There was once a Catholic Church there but it was destroyed in years gone by in the time of the Reformation. It was torn down twice and the Priests were persecuted.
There is a Protestant building in the graveyard at present and is there for over two hundred years. While it was been built it was torn down twice by the Catholics of the locality. They did not like to see the Protestants building a Chapel there where they had their own once. The third time they went to build it, a band of guards were placed around there and the Church was completed. The great families of the district were buried there. The remains of the old Catholic ruin are there yet. There is an underground tomb there and a flag over head where a Parson was once buried.
In Summer evenings at twilight children have been seen dancing on the flag. Opinions differ as to whether they were fairies or the Ghosts of the departed. It is a very badly kept graveyard at present. In the year 1921(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Faisnéiseoir
