- Local Cures
There are many herbs which grow in gardens. that are used for curing people such as garlic and mint are used for curing colds. This is the reason why goat's milk is healthier than cow's milk, because goats eat herbs which cows would not touch. There are also many other plants which grow in gardens, that are people. Some of them are Rosemary bush, wild rhubarb and gooseberries. The Rosemary bush is very good for asthma if he boils a bit of it with sugar and takes it he is supposed to be cured of it. Some people say wild is good for boils but I do not know how it is used. If one has a sty on his eye and gets a thorn off a gooseberry bush for nine(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
