   When the new moon is seen while men are fishing, the boats crew will look at the first coin taken from their pockets, and if a lot of them show heads it is a sign of good luck.
   It is very unlucky to see a fish to a person with broad thumbs.
   If half of one fish is eaten and the rest is thrown into the water it is said that in the following year the whole fish will return to the place and wait to be caught.
