Nettle-sting - Rub with a dock-leaf.
Wasp or Bee sting - squeeze of blue-bag.
Sore throat - Powder alum, burn on tin dish. Put it into (tonsils). a quil. Keep tongue down with spoon & blow into quil in sufferer's mouth.
