    The Hegarty’s of Carrowgarry have the cure for evil. They make it out of herbs
    Rheumatism
    At the Inniscrone bath houses one will get cured of rheumatism. They give one seaweed baths and oily seaweed to rub on the part which is sore. There is also another cure for it in this locality which is to get wild mustard rubbed on the part which is sore
    Wormo
    The late William McKinley had a charm. His charm was to eat salty fish and to put one’s head to water but not to drink it. The person would then get rid of them
