    It has been related that he evicted a widow who occupied a house in his property, and that this widow who left the locality near Carrigafoyle Castle by way of a small boat en route for Kilrush - cursed him - Mr. Hickey at the point where she embarked in the boat, and that Mr. Hickey was subsequently found dead at this point, such was the end of "The Master"
    This story was told to me by my mother.
