    Cnoc an Áir is so called because a King of Greece wanted his daughter to marry a certain man.
    She did not like this man.
    She fled from her father.
    She came to Cnoc an Áir.
    There she met Fionn Mac Cumhail and she asked him to help her.
    A great battle was fought there between Fionn Mac Cumhail and the King and henceforth it is called Cnoc an Áir or the hill of the slaughter.
    It is called Cool Ruadh
