    Once a workman was employed by a rich man, who got broken down.

    They sent for the Rector but he could do nothing. Then they sent for the Priest. The Priest prayed for a long time till at last the man spoke and said, he could pray there for a week, but that he would not go till he got his money.
    When the master heard this, he was glad to pay the money due to get rid of the devil.
