  1. Mr Reilly Main Street Carrick told me of a woman named Maggie Mc Gee. Every time she went to Mass she put a half-penny into an old tin box which she kept at home.
    After fifty Sundays she opened the box expecting to find fifty half-pennies. She got a surprise for there was only one half-penny, because there was only one Mass heard properly.
