When the price of an animal is agreed upon the jobbers give a piece of paper to the former owner with his name printed on it and also the amount to be received. When the fair is over the jobbers get their money through the Bank and pays each man the amount marked on the docket which he hands in.
Fairs which were held in Jamestown, Dangan, and Drumsna are now being discontinued.
