  2. Haw-shooters are made from the stalks of nettles because the stalk of a nettle is hallow inside. The boy eats the skins of the haws and then he blows the stones through the haw-shooter.
    Snares are made from thin wire tied at one end to a piece of stick and the loop made at the other. It is placed outside a rabbit burrow and when the the rabbit comes out his head gets caught in the loop and
