    1. If a person had a sty in his eye he would point a gooseberry then throw it across his shoulder. This would cure the sty.
    2. If a person had the measles he would boil nettles and when he drank the juice that came out from them it would cure him.
    3.The cure of the foul mouth was to let the seventh son of a house breath into the persons mouth.
    4. The cure of the boils was to pick sorrels, boil them and leave them on the boils.
    5. If a person had rhuematism and rub nettle juice on the place that was sore.
