  1. In winter all the animals are tied in. They have to get hay three times a day and a drink once a day. There are two kinds of cows "polly" and "horney". The cows are sometimes tied with a chain or a rope. When a beast begins to thieve the people put a rope from their foot to their horn and tie their head down. the cattle are always tied round the neck. The way the people call the pigs is hurish, hurish, hurish. The people call the calves as suck, suck, suck, and the goats as kiddy kiddy kiddy.
