    In the long Winter nights I play draughts, Ludo and Snakes and Ladders. Two persons are all who can play draughts and for can [play] Ludo and six can play Snakes and Ladders. I can also play the three games. I can also play cards. The draught board is all black and white squares. The men which you play with are also black and white. The Snakes and Ladders board is all covered with Snakes and Ladders and numbers. When you go to the top of a Snake you come down and when you go to the bottom of the Ladder you go up it.
