    scooped out and a little piece cut out of the stick and the peel put on again and when blown into it gave out a nice sharp whistle.
    Daisy Chains: They pulled daisies with a fairly long stem. A little hole was made in the stem and a Daisy pulled through it and in this daisy's stem a hole was made and another daisy pulled through, and so on until it was finished. This is done nowadays also.
