  1. Superstitions Louis Irwin from his faher Frank Irwin 67 who had it from his father mother.
    Old people in Ireland thought it was very unlucky to cut a tree on a fort - they thought it belonged to the fairies. They also said it was bad to touch a tree growing by itself in the middle of a field. An old man raised the hatchet to cut a branch off one of these trees. He thought a voice said "Don't do that! Don't do that"! and he didn't.
