    If the rooster goes crowing to bed he will surely rise with a watery head.
    It is not lucky to spill salt- you will cry salt tears.
    It is not right to give away buttermilk after the sun sets.
    If the 1st of February is fair and clear there will be two winters in the year- but if it happens to rain or snow provisions will be high and cattle low.
