- A StoryThere was a woman one time and her name was Biddy Early. One day she was walking along the streets of Clare to see a sick man. She met a man on her way and she told him her business to the house. He gave her a bottle and said. If the priest gives you leave to cure with this bottle you can cure with it. The woman went on her way thanking him ever so much. When she reached the house the priest was there before her. "Cure him", said Biddy and the priest said nothing. "Cure him" yourself said the priest so Biddy had leave to cure him. Got from My Father Mick age 52, Benmore, Bullaun.
