When the neighbours heard about the hare they gathered all the dogs and hounds of the village and went to catch the hare.
One black hound followed the hare to the hut and bit the hares leg. But the hare climbed up along the hut and went down the chimney. One of the men went into the hut and he saw an old woman sitting by the fire. The man saw that the old woman's heel was covered with blood.
