  1. Local Happenings
    About 25 years ago an old woman was burnt to death. This is how it happened. She was going to bed and forgot to put out the fire. A spark flew and set fire to the house. The door was locked and she could not get out. She called for help but did not get any. There were people on the far side of the road who heard the cry but did not come out to save her.
