- The sheep are mostly fed out in the land or around a cock of hay. Sometimes they are fed with oats. When calling sheep we say "chough, chough". Sheep are never put in in winter. They are always left out around a cock of hay. Sheep are shorn in the month of May. When sheep are going in trespass a sideline is put on two of their feet. A sideline is made from a hay rope. The sheeps fleece is very useful because cloth is made from it.
