  1. There are two tailors in this district. Mr. horan who resides in Aughrim and Mr. Hardiman who resides in Killoran. They always work at home. The tailors do not stock the cloth, it is always brought to them. The cloth is not spun or woven locally. It is usually tweed that is worn in this district. I don't know of any sayings or stories. The tailors implements are, machine, pair of iorns, tape, sizzors, thimble, needle and thread. Shirts are made in some homes from
