They are dug in October . The big potatoes are picked first and put in a pit for eating. Then the middle size are put in a pit for seed. The small black ones are put in a pit for pigs. There are many kinds of potatoes in this locality Champions, Beautes, Arron Banners, Arron Chiefs, Epicure, Irish Queens, British Queens, Up-to-date, Kerr's Pink is the best potatoe for eating.
