Ar an leathanach seo
- Many fields, hills, bogs, bens and rivers have special names and there is a reason for the name in each case.
We have a field called the "Mossy Park". It was so called because long ago the old people used to cut the best of turf in it and if you dig far enough down you will find moss in it.
Another is called the "Bottomless Meadow" as it has no bottom. It is said long ago a sheep was lost in it. Some years ago the chain tether was discovered far down in the soil with the skull of sheep still fastened to it.
There is a place in the hill called the "Bull's Leap" and there are a few stories connected it and here is one of them.
One day a man was crossing a field in which there was a very cross bull. Seeing the man the animal made after him. The man made his way(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
