    On St Brigids Day we make crosses out of rushes. We then sprinkle holy water on them and hang them up in the kitchen.
    St Patricks Day
    We wear shamrocks on St. Patricks Day. We also go to mass on that day.
    Shrove Tuesday
    On Shrove Tuesday we eat pancakes.
    Ash Wednesday
    We go to chapel to get ashes on our foreheads.
    Good Friday
    When Good Friday comes we go to the chapel and go round the Stations of the Cross at three o
    clock because Our Lord died at that time.
    Whit Sunday
    It is said if a person is born on Whit Sunday he or she will kill somebody or be killed themselves. It is also said if a person sleeps on Whit Sunday he or she will die before the year is finished.
