As labourers in former days had to begin work at 5am and work to 7pm it will be readily understood that sport of any kind was not much favoured as the men were too tired for anything of the sort I can trace no local poets local monuments (other than those already mentioned) The same applies to quiries Penal Times Holy wells Stories of Holy family, Local patron saint, Old Irish tales, old songs, Giants, Warriors, Religious Stories collection of prayers, Emblems and objects of value Historical traditions and strange animals
    This district is a purely Plantation Settlement, the standard of intelligence is low and people were not inclined to remember anything about above subjects
