  1. There is a large holly-bush growing beside old wallsteads in Labadoo and the following story is told about it:-
    One day a number of boys from the neighbouring townlands went out to hunt, taking their dogs with them.
    On their [going] past this bush going to Craigdoo hill they found that when they reached this bush they could [not] move another step forward. They then tried to put their dogs past but they refused to do so. After trying several times they gave up hope, and returned home, and did not go to hunt at all that day.
