   There is another story told about John Og. One time he had three jar's of potteen made. Some one told the police that he had the potteen up on an old loft. The sergent and two other of the police came and they went up on the loft and they got the potteen. One big jar and two small ones. The sergent told the other two police to go to the town for a cart. The sergent sat on the big jar and he put one of his legs on each of the small jar's. The sergent asked John Og to tell him a story. John said he could not but he said he would sing him a song. The sergent said alright. He started to sing and when he was singing a while, his wife Nellie said he was a bit of the air but she would help him. The two of them
