"The Green, Dun Laoghaire"
On the green of Dun Laoghaire there is a round patch of earth on which grass never grows. The reason for this, is, that some years ago, a group of men used to play cards on this spot. They used to bring a portable table and a lantern and play till the early hours of the morning. One night a man, came up and asked for a hand of cards. After a while one of the lads dropped a card and on stooping to pick it up he saw a cloven foot. He collapsed and brought the table down with him. when he (finished) fell. The other chaps saw the foot(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
