    yourself with it and it is to come off. A cure for the whopping-cough you go to a woman married to a man of the same name and get a piece of bread which she baked and eat it. This is supposed to cure it.
    To cure a felon you get a herb called browsworth and boil it with celery in water. When it is boiled the person with the felon drinks the juice. This is supposed to cure it.
    If you have a sore eye you rub a wedding ring over it and it is supposed to get better. If you get a sting of a nettle rub a mint-leaf on it and it is supposed to get better.
