Ar an leathanach seo

Flour was very cheap then but the people did not eat much bread. They ate mostly stirabout which was made from yellow meal. Later the people began to use tea. There used to be a lot of boxty made also.
The men used to do two hours work before the breakfast. If it was a fast day they would only get potatoes, salt and water. When the people would go to town they would lock the food.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
