  1. There is a "mass rock" in Bohea about 1/2 a mile south-east of this school. It is situated near a graveyard which is know as "Cillin". It is said that St. Patrick said mass there on his way to Croagh Patrick. There is a "blessed well" and the relics of an old church to be seen there yet.
    There is one in Boleybrian at the south side of the reek about a mile west of this school.
    There is another one in Prospect.
