  1. In the village of Bruff in the Parish of Aghamore in the County of Mayo there is a three corner field owned by Patrick Kenny. There is a little hill in the field and under it there is a large crock of gold hidden it is there hundreds of years. Some old magician put it there by magic and one time he had to leave the gold to go some other place and he left an Eel to mind the gold until he would return. The Eel keeps a faithful watch for the gold. The magician never returned.
