  1. Long ago the people would not wear any shoes until they be getting married. Some people did not wear any shoes at all. A woman went round from house to house and she never wore a shoe. She was called by the name of Catherine Morley. Some of the people used to wear traigins long ago to keep their feet warm and some of them used to wear clogs. The traigins were stockings wore from the top of the heel or under the ankle up to the knee. No shoes were made for the people long ago. The people do not wear tan shoes in those years.
