    when they went to the Bridge of Atlone there were a crowd of men there and they would not let them pass and they had to come home. They next year Mick Flaherty was going and they went with him but they were afraid because they knew the men would be at the Bridge. But when they got there Mick Flaherty had a stick with an iron on the top of it and any that was on the road he struck them and sent them home and he went to England.
