    "Tobar na Súil" where people went to in order to cure sore eyes.
    When anybody got a cut, the old people put St. Ann leaf on it. This was supposed to draw any badness out of it and to heal at the same time. For pains and rheumatism they used chicken-weed warmed on the tongs and put on as poultices. For inward pains they got garlic and boiled it and drank it. For liver trouble they gathered dandelions and boiled them, they put the juice into tea and drank it. This was called "dandelion tea".
