    young children. First a white coating came on the tongue and the child would get very heavy and sick. It was said that a posthumous child could cure this by breathing three times into the child's mouth.
    When they got a pain anywhere, the people got the fat of a goose or gander and rubbed it into the skin where the pain was. This was also a cure for sore legs.
    For sore eyes cold tea was used. It was rubbed into them every night and morning until they were better. There was a well in this district called
