  1. There are four fairy forts in the school district, one of them is Thomas Morley's fort. It is said that when anybody used to pass by they could hear the fairies making money.
    There is another fort in Mr Tarpey's and in Mr Kelly's field, this fort is called Kelly's Fort. There is also a fort in Culliney's field, one in Dignan's field, and one in Freely's field.
    Kelly and Tarpey's forts are in the townland of Treen.
