While the potatoes are growing the people have to mould them twice, to weed them and to spray them twice or three times.
When the potatoes are dug they are put into pits and left there or brough home. First when the people are making pits they dig a hole about six inches deep They put the potatoes into it. The leave the pits about three feet high. The first thing they cover them with is straw they cover the straw with clay.
