Near Tottenham Green a long time ago a black dog used to be seen. He used to be met every night about twelve o clock at the bridge of Tottenham. Although he was often seen he never did anybody any harm but he was a powerful big dog. There was one thing certain he didn't belong to anybody in the neighbourhood. People got used to him by degrees and wouldn't be a bit afraid of him but this good while now he wasn't seen at all, but it is certain that he was seen.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
