  1. I live in the Parish of Crusheen. It got its name from a small cross where the coffin was laid when the people were bringing it to the grave-yard, near St Cronans Monastry.
    Most of the houses in the Parish are tatched. There are but few of them slated exept those that were built in the last twenty years.
