    Fairs 5-4- '38.
    Long ago fairs were held in Crusheen in a place called "Brodac" about a quarter of a mile from the village but because of a man being killed there in a faction fight the fairs were not held there any more.
    When a man was bringing his cattle to a fair long ago he would not like to meet certain things on his way to the fair.One was a woman with red hair ,and if they met such a woman they would turn
