    Fairs 6-6 -'38

    Fairs long ago used to be out through the country.They used also be in towns and Villages.The farmers who have cattle to sell go to Ennis or Gort or Tula to sell them.These are the nearest places to them.Sometimes people go from house to house buying cattle.
    In Ennis there is a field for the fairs.When the cattle are sold they are marked.Some buyers usually have a paint stick. (Other buyers have a ).it is a square field with four gates ,one
