If you get a mild hazy day with cool breeze coming from the North east we are sure to have snow. On a frosty night the stars are very bright.
If you see a flock of crows flying high it is the sign of bad weather. When a cat puts his back to the fire we will have rain. If a horse turns its back to a tree we will have rain. If you see a hen pick herself it is the sign of cold weather.
