    Each pupil secured a wooden seat for himself. There used to be a turf fire in the corner of the barn.
    This account of the above old school was brought by Mary Carroll of Cartron Kelly, Dysart, Co. Roscommon. She got the information from her mother, to whom her grandfather told it.
